We will invite members from other schools to participate in the competition. The schools in our school district do not have adequately funded robotics programs or clubs, so by integrating members of robotics, engineering, and programming clubs and teams from the school district, we can get the help of its most capable and dedicated students, improving our chances of winning awards in competition. In addition, we will publicize the program as not only a science and engineering program, but also a way for students to improve their business skills and participate in real business negotiations and presentations.

Most of the diversification will occur on the student side of the program, but we also expect to involve more adult volunteers and mentors. By inviting engineering mentors to participate in the competition, we will improve our students’ learning experience and make the competition process more closely resemble engineering in the workplace.
